【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationcoversperformancerequirements,testmethods,andlabelingrequirementstopromotethesafeuseofbabychangingtablesandotherchangingsurfacessuchascontouredchangingpadsandadd-onchangingunitsthataresoldseparatelyforuseonfurnitureproductsotherthanchangingtables.1.2Thisspecificationcoversproductssoldfordomesticuseforchildrenuptoaweightof30lb(13.6kg).1.3Changingtablesandotherchangingproductssoldseparately,suchascontouredchangingpadsandadd-onchangingunitsshallmeetallapplicableperformanceandlabelingrequirements.1.4Nochangingtable,contouredchangingpad,oradd-onchangingunitproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisspecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallapplicablerequirementscontainedherein,before,andafteralltesting.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6ThefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportioninSection7ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
