【摘要】:IronmayincreasethecolorofbisphenolAandaffectotherpropertiesofend-useproducts.HighpuritybisphenolAtypicallyhaslessthan1mg/kgofiron.1.1ThistestmethodcoverstheproceduretodeterminetheironcontentofbisphenolA(4,4180;-isopropylidenediphenol).1.2Thistestmethodhasalowerdetectionlimitof0.1mg/kg,andanupperlimitof10mg/kgofironinbisphenolA.Iftheironcontentishigher,itmaybenecessarytodilutethesample.AlongerpathlengthcellcanalsobeusedforbetteraccuracyatlowerFelevels,aswellascalibrationwithintherangeexpected(forexample,0to1mg/kgversus0to10mg/kgforsamplesexpectedtobeinthe0to1mg/kgrange.1.3Indeterminingtheconformanceofthetestresultsusingthismethodtoapplicablespecifications,resultsshallberoundedoffinaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,seeSection8.
