【摘要】:Thisstandardgivesrecommendationsforthedesign,installation,commissioningandmaintenanceofvoicealarmsystemswhichautomaticallybroadcastspeechorwarningtones,inresponsetosignalsfromtheirassociatedfiredetectionandalarmsystems.Italsocoverssystemsthatincludeamanualfacilityforthetransmissionoflivevoicemessagesaswellasautomaticallygeneratedmessagesforemergencypurposes.NOTE1ThefiredetectionandfirealarmsystemsthemselvesarecoveredbyBS5839-1.Systemsthatdependsolelyuponmanualinterventionarenotcoveredbythisstandard.However,thisstandardcanbeusedforguidanceinthedesign,installation,commissioningandmaintenanceofsuchsystems.NOTE2Thisstandardappliestoextensionsandalterationstoexistingsystems,atleastinrespectofthedesign,installation,commissioning,maintenance,andthecertificationofthenewwork,albeitthattheextendedoralteredsystemmightnot,overall,conformtothisstandard.NOTE3BS7827providesfurtherrecommendationsinrespectofsportsvenues.
