【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationcoversperformancerequirements,testmethods,andmarkingrequirementstopromotesafeuseoftheinfantwalker(see3.1).1.2Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisintendedtominimizeaccidentstochildrenresultingfromnormaluseandreasonablyforeseeablemisuseorabuseofwalkers.1.3Nowalkerproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyspecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallrequirementscontainedherein.1.4Thisconsumersafetyspecificationisnotintendedtoaddressaccidentsandinjuriesresultingfromtheinteractionofotherpersonswiththechildinthewalkerortheaccidentsresultingfromabuseandmisusebychildrenabletowalk.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisconsumersafetyspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
