【摘要】:Thistestmethoddoesnotpurporttointerpretthedatagenerated.Thistestmethodisintendedtocompareslow-crack-growth(SCG)resistanceforalimitedsetofHDPEresins.ThistestmethodmaybeusedonvirginHDPEresincompression-moldedintoaplaqueoronextrudedHDPEcorrugatedpipethatischoppedandcompression-moldedintoaplaque(see7.1.1fordetails).1.1Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminethesusceptibilityofhigh-densitypolyethylene(HDPE)resinsorcorrugatedpipetoslow-crack-growthunderaconstantligament-stressinanacceleratingenvironment.ThistestmethodisintendedtoapplyonlytoHDPEofalimitedmeltindexanddensityrangeasdefinedinAASHTOStandardSpecificationM294.Thistestmethodmaybeapplicableforothermaterials,butdataarenotavailableforothermaterialsatthistime.1.2Thistestmethodmeasuresthefailuretimeassociatedwithagiventestspecimenataconstant,specified,ligament-stresslevel.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4DefinitionsareinaccordancewithTerminologyF412,andabbreviationsareinaccordancewithTerminologyD1600,unlessotherwisespecified.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
